School project made during 2nd semester, Interior Design I.
Inside a 34 m2 space with access to garden, students were asked to design a kitchen including dining area (-fast/breakfast) and insert a plateau of 18 cm, with no restrictions regarding shape or location.
As centrepiece and heart of the kitchen, the large kitchen island facilitates multipurpose use and activity simultaneously, where a number of people can gather and take part of the bustle. Whereas the couch section creates a tranquil environment, accommodating more relaxed behaviours, without being cut off from the action taking place at the kitchens heart.
